Charter > Itinerary > ANTALYA - MARMARIS

 

 

1. DAY: your yacht will be moored in Antalya Setur Marina. Coctail to welcome you aboard. Introduction to crew. We depart from Antalya to visit the ancient siteof Phaselis. In the evening we sail to Andriace bay. The ancient harbour ofAndriace has a good beach for swimming and sunbathing. Dinner and night moored at Andriace bay. ( myra and derme are about 5km.away )

2.DAY: breakfast- visit to Demre- Myra and St. Nicolas church.In the evening we sail to Gökkaya Harbour, where islets and inlets backed by rolling maquis hills create a successon of pleasent anchorages. A fresh water spring bubles up into the sea so that the water is refreshingly cool even in the summer. Dinner and night on board.

3.DAY: breakfast. We move to Kekova, is an island as well as the name of a whole ensemble of picturesque islands, numerous bays and ancient cities. Earthquakes have disturbed the land causing some of the ancient houses to sink under the clear water. Continuing west out of Kekova we arrive to KaÅŸ Harbour.

KAÅž: ( ANCIENT ANTIPHELLOS ) is a small gren oasis under the scrub covered hills and is quite one of the most enchanting places along this coast. Behind the village on the step slopes are numerous Lycian tombs. Of ancient Antiphellos only the Lycian rock cut tombs and sarcophagi are left. The charm of the town, however, remains and it is a pleasure to wander through the streets stopping to examine the souvenir shops that offer Turkish handcrafts, leather goods, copper and silver items, cotton clothing and the inevitable handmade carpet. The energetic may want to visit the Hellenistic amphitheatre in a spettacular setting, with superb wievs over the bay.

4.DAY: breakfast- set sail for Ölüdeniz, one of the most beautiful and most astonishing spots to moor along the southern Turkish coast. Lunch on board-swimming in the crystal clear water on the beach in your dreams. İn the afternoon, sail to Gemili island, a rugged, rocky island where you can stil see the ruins of a mediaeval. Dinner and night on board.

5.DAY: breakfast-sail to the Gulf of Fethiye, true paradise for yachtsmen who will find dozens of spots to drop anchor along these rugged coasts, each with its own original charm.

FETHİYE:Fethiye was flattered in the same earthquake that destroyed Marmaris and the modern postquake town mostly comprises ofreinforced concrete building of little charm. Here and there one sees the older style dwellings that survived the earthquake, little gems stuck in the concrete. Ancient Telmessus can be seen here. Overnight at a bay near Fethiye.

6.DAY: After leisurely breakfast, sail to Göcek Bays. Overnight Göcek Bay.

7.DAY: After breakfast, you will begin cruising to one of the unspoilt bays called Ekincik. On the way you will stop at Semisce Bay for come free time before lunch. After lunch at Ekincik a fisherman’s motor boat will take you to explore the dalyan river- visiting Lycian tombs, hot springs, the mud baths and the ancient port of caunos. You will also get a chance to see the sight of the Grek temples, Roman baths, Byzantine church before enjoying the scenic views overlooking the valleys of Caunos village on the way back to turtle beach.( caretta-caretta) dinner and night at my marin ( ekincik)

8.DAY:after having breakfast, you will leave the yacht with best wishes in Marmaris port.
